ABOUT
SAGE is a well-established homeschool co-op (over 20 years!) with an admin board that brings years of combined experience to the co-op. SAGE also maintains a very nice veteran to new homeschooler ratio on its teaching teams to further accomplish our goal of providing support and encouragement to you on your homeschool journey.

Our purpose statement gives you an overview of our goals and the reason for our existence: “S.A.G.E. Co-op (Seeking A Godly Education) is a cooperative of Christian families in the Billings area whose goal is to enhance our student's educational and social experience by providing learning opportunities with a distinctive Christian worldview. We accomplish our goal with weekly co op meetings, field trips, social outings and we provide parents with support and encouragement.”

We require 100% parent involvement (no drop off allowed) and require every parent to teach on a teaching team. Regular attendance and a commitment to being a valuable member of their teaching team is expected of each member.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
It is our intent to provide our children with a distinctly Christian worldview. While we may hold to denominational differences, we agree on a common statement of faith. All members of SAGE must agree to teach any and all subjects from a viewpoint in agreement with the below:
-
We believe the Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God, and it is the supreme and final authority for all matters of faith and life.
-
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
-
We believe in the perfect deity and perfect humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His sacrificial death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and His bodily return in power and glory.
-
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but chose to sin and is therefore lost and only those who put their faith in Jesus Christ alone are saved.
-
We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and is received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose substitutionary death on the cross paid the penalty for man’s sin, through His shed blood.
-
We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict men of their sin, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.
-
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers through our common faith in Jesus Christ.
